Affiliate links: when and how I use them

If I link to a product, website, or service on my website and you use that link and buy something on the website I linked to, it’s possible that I might receive some sort of affiliate commission.

I may implement some sort of system that makes it easier for you to know when a link is an affiliate link. We’ll see. (If I do, I’ll mention how it works on this page.)

In general I’m pretty discerning when it comes to the products, websites, and services I link to or mention and the people or companies I form an affiliate relationships with.

Referrals to affiliates: when and how I use them

At the moment I don’t have any affiliate relationships where I get compensated if you, say, mention I referred you to a person, company, website, or product.

I may in future; if I do, I’ll mention it on this page.

List of who and what I’m affiliated with

Below is a complete list of products and services I get commission from if you buy them after using my affiliate links (in cases where the affiliate links for a website apply to more than just one product, I’ll include a brief clarification statement of how things work).

I’ll update the below list each time I:

  • link to a new website, product, or service I have an affiliate relationship with
  • form an affiliate relationship with someone who gives me commission if you mention I referred you

Note: the links below are not affiliate links.

Products and services I get commission from if you use my affiliate links

  • Amazon.com. Some products I link to that are sold by Amazon.com contain my affiliate tracking code for Amazon. That means if you buy any products from Amazon while my tracking code is active (even if the products aren’t what I originally linked to), I may get some commission.
